What is EmFace Dublin?
Emface is a powerful facial rejuvenation treatment that requires no needles, no injections, and no downtime. It uses two different energies to stimulate your skin and elevating facial muscles. The result is stronger, smoother skin and stronger support for a facial lift.
Where is EmFace performed?
Emface is for the treatment of the mid and upper face. The applicators are applied to the cheeks and forehead.
How effective is EmFace?
Highly. Supramaximal contraction of the muscles and heating of the skin over the course of 4x sessions provide the most non-invasive and least demanding facial rejuvenation we know of at Amara. The results are excellent and long-lasting.
How much does EmFace cost?
It is €600 per session. You must start with a course of 4x to see results and get value out of the treatment. The good news is the results are long-lasting so there's value there.
Does EmFace hurt?
Nope. There is a heat sensation from the pads that is highly tolerable. The induced supramaximal muscle contraction is a peculiar sensation at first but within a couple of minutes, no patients to date have reported discomfort.
Is there downtime with EmFace?
None. Zero. No joke.
How long does EmFace take?
The session is controlled by the machine, and the run-time is a consistent 20mins per session. So with prep-time and then post-prep, each appointment is just 30mins.
How long do EmFace results last?
They are long-lasting with noticeable improvements and lift lasting for a year in most cases. Some patients may not last as long and others may get longer.
Can I get anti-wrinkle injections or filler with EmFace?
At Amara, we will insist you are at least 12 weeks through your anti-wrinkle cycle before undertaking an Emface treatment. It is best if your anti-wrinkle treatment is fully worn off as you want muscle contraction to be as great as possible with EmFace.
You should wait a minimum of two weeks after a filler treatment before an Emface treatment. Filler treatment during a course of Emface is not advised.
In both cases, you are free to have anti-wrinkle treatment or filler immediately after your final course session.
The good news is EmFace has been shown to improve the results of subsequent anti-wrinkle treatments.
How long does it take to have a course of EmFace?
It can take as little as 21 days if your schedule allows. An interval of 7days is recommended between session. While this timeline can be extended somewhat - up to intervals of 14 days - it is best not to shorten it.
Does EmFace really work?
Yes it does. Really! The best explanation is to think about back exercises. When you have poor posture due to weak back muscles, back exercises improve your posture. Our facial 'posture' weakens as we age and the elevator muscles that keep things lifted can get weaker. Emface gives you about 1 year of yoga in about 20 minutes so really works to lift your face!
Does EmFace help jowls?
Emface achieves a lift by targeting the elevator muscles of the face. Can you see jowls when you smile? No. How about when your face is sad? Probably right. So, by strengthening the muscles of lifting, Emface lifts jowls.
Does Emface hurt?
Emface is painless. The heat of Radiofrequency is like a hot bath. The electrical sensation from emface feels a little like pressing an electric toothbrush against your forehead or cheeks. It feels like a gentle vibration not a pain.
