Welcome to EmFace at Amara!

EmFace is a cutting edge treatment that uses two different types of energy to address the visible signs of ageing.

This new technology works in two ways to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, while also improving the tone of the muscles tissues that support the soft tissue of your face. Best of all there are no needles required for these improvements.

A clinically proven treatment, EmFace is rapidly making its way in the world of aesthetics as a standalone treatment or something to be used in combination with traditional injectables to combat the visible signs of ageing. However, it has some clear advantages that make this quick and easy procedure something everyone should pay attention to.

What does EMFace treatment do?

EMFace is a revolution in facial treatments. By emitting synchronised RF and HIFES energies, it affects the facial skin and muscles simultaneously.

The end result is fewer wrinkles and more lift without needles.

What are the benefits of treatment with EMFace?

It’s two therapies in one treatment as you receive both RF (works on skin) and HIFES (works on muscle) energies at the same time.

There are no needles involved.

It is highly undemanding of the patient and it takes just 20 mins per session.

How does EMFace work?

The RF modality of the treatment works by heating the dermis and increasing the productions of collagen and elastin.

The HIFES modality works on muscles by increasing and elevating the support of facial tissues. By selectively contracting muscles it increases the density and quality of muscle structure.

What are the benefits of EMFace treatment?

EMFace has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by 37%, increase lift by 23% and increase muscle tone by 30% in treated areas.

What does an EMFace treatment involve?

In short – very little. After a consultation where we run through a few things, we simply pop you in a treatment chair, attach the applicator to your face, and off you go.

Each session is 20mins. It’s very simple.

Does EMFace treatment hurt? Is there downtime with EMFace?

No, EMFace treatment does not hurt. It feels like a facial massage. There are also no pre- or post-treatment considerations for an EMFace treatment.

When will I see the results of EMFace? How long do EMFace results last?

You must start with a course of 4 to reap the full benefits of this treatment. These are usually done over the course of four weeks initially and the results of this initial course are seen at three months after your first treatment.

The results last for up to one year but top-up treatments can be organised to maintain an impactful result.

Dr Mylene is fantastic..she really listens to your concerns and makes sure you get the best results possible. I have had several treatments at Amara with Dr Paul and more recently with Dr Mylene and the treatments are of the highest quality and thr Dr's are so friendly and professional. I have tried other places for my treatments as I live a good distance away from the clinic , but I always return to Amara .

My mom and I went here recently for hydra facials and were so impressed! Everything was explained in detail with plenty of time allocated to the appointment, no rushing, absolutely no hard sell on products and kind service all the way around! My mom saw Gráinne and I saw Julia - both of them were amazing and got us set up with routines that are suitable and simple to follow. Skin is glowing! I have had quite a few Hydrafacials at different clinics in Dublin, and back home in Copenhagen as well, but this clinic is so far the best.The therapist was lovely and she just really knew what she was doing. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while guiding me through the treatment.I also had a lot of questions regarding skin care and products because I have had some problems with acne and she took her time to answer all my questions without making me feel pressured to buy the products she was recommending me, which is important to me.I found my visit to the clinic to be excellent. The staff was welcoming and well-trained.Most importantly, my skin just felt and looked amazing afterwards.

I love this clinic!! I have been going here for over 5 years and although it is a huge trek for me I won’t ever go anywhere else for my skincare. The doctors and staff are so friendly and helpful and I cannot stress this point enough. I am not the kind of girl that gets regular facials or would follow a strict 6 step nightly skin regime. In fact, I would normally find this type of place daunting because I often feel judgement for not “being better” with this stuff. At Amara I have never felt like this. Everyone there always makes me feel so comfortable and genuinely wants to help me feel the best I can. I haven’t yet mentioned the results which are always incredible from the few things I’ve had done there . I am always so happily surprised by the results and the clinic is always so amazing with follow up appointments if necessary. I cannot vouch enough for this clinic!

An unusual but very important review....Amara was very highly recommended to me by a colleague. I purchased a €2,000 voucher from Amara for my wife as a 50th birthday present. Needless to say, she was ecstatic. Due to Covid 19 financial difficulties, we reluctantly decided not to utilise the voucher and to request a refund....6 months later. These are terribly difficult times for businesses, so I felt more than a little embarassed and not very hopeful. I am 50 years old and have been around the block a few times, I have never encountered such professionalism and simple humanity. Never a question, I was fully refunded to my huge relief and complete satisfaction. This company clearly has a wonderful and primary customer care ethos. My first visit to Amara (it won't be the last!) was excellent. Paul has such an easy manner, I felt very comfortable and at ease immediately. Everything was explained in detail so I knew exactly what was being done and why. There was no pushy sales technique - if anything it is evident that they will only do work that will benefit you - you won't pay for unnecessary treatments and any treatments you do have will be done with an emphasis on looking natural rather than 'done'. I can recommend Amara.Carolina makes you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive at this clinic.I had an Hydrafacial with Joanie that I will definitely indulge in again and also availed of her advice on their range of skin care products.I felt reassured by Dr Pauls pleasant unrushed manner and in particular with his conservative approach and natural results.He takes the time to explain what he is doing and why he thinks you need it which I like.I will definitely return.

I'm more than thrilled about my decsion to go to Amara for lip fillers. I've been researching for a few years but was always to nervous to follow through with the procedure. Dr. Paul is very thorough and honest. He explained everything he would do to achieve the desired result. I asked him for subtlety and thats exactly what I received. I had my first hyrdafacial treatment here, and loved it so much I’ve already booked another! The treatment itself is amazing, my skin was left feeling wonderful, and the benefits were noticeable straight away, and I my skin was noticeably soft and smooth for several weeks after the treatment. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. My therapist Joanie was lovely, and incredibly knowledgeable of the whole process, and really thorough when reviewing my skin needs. I would highly recommend Dr Paul Munsanje for tear trough filler. I'm so delighted with the results! I had become quite sunken and dark under the eyes, after one visit there was an immediate and significant improvement. I no longer look tired all the time and don't need anymore concealer. There was a small amount of bruising for a few days afterwards but nothing that makeup couldn't hide. A real natural look - happy days!!

Had an amazing hydrafacial from Siobhan yesterday. She’s meticulous in her work and incredibly good at breaking down the science of skin into simple terms so I understood exactly where my skin was at, what she was going to do to it, and what I could do going forward to improve it. As well as this she was a complete dote and easy to chat to. I felt really well looked after by herself and the front of house guys AND my skin looks incredible, I didn’t think skin could be this smooth. Highly recommend.

Absolutely recommend Amara and Dr Paul Munsanje for providing a truly professional and warm service with fantastic results. Was particularly impressed by a tear trough filler which was stunning in its immediate effect and virtually painless. Found Paul to be really experienced, informative and understanding, felt very comfortable having the procedures and also done easily on my lunch hour. Most importantly, he did exactly what I wanted but achieved a far better result than I was aware was possible, and made it seem so easy.. so very impressive. I feel it’s the best money I’ve spent in years, very very happy. Did try a different clinic a few years ago and didn’t find it very good but feel Amara is in a different league, will definitely go back to Amara. All of the clinic are just lovely and welcoming so I would also credit them with a great team in-house. Well worth a visit.
