How does Exion RF microneedling work?
The principle is the same as older medical-grade devices. Controlled damage to the skin at accurate depths promotes the skin’s natural healing responses. These processes result in an increased production of collagen and elastin, which improves skin strength and quality.
How long does a session fo Exion RF microneedling take?
One of the advances of Exion RF is that it’s a single-pass device. Older generation devices required multiple passes over the treatment area to produce a result. But thanks to the AI and RF, Exion only requires a single pass meaning a session is only 45-60mins long.
Can I get Exion RF microneedling while pregnant?
Unfortunately, as with most cosmetic procedures and medical grade products, we cannot perform Exion during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Will I be red after Exion RF microneedling?
Yes. There is not microneedling device that won’t leave you red following treatment. However, because it is a single-pass treatment, and the needles don’t need to penetrate as deeply as other devices, the redness resolves much more quickly. Older devices would leave patients red for 3-4 days – with Exion, most people’s redness has resolved completely by the next morning.
