Hi I’m Dr Paul from Amara Aesthetics Skin Clinic in Dublin. One question that people often ask me is what is our most popular treatment? Well, we do a lot of treatments in our Aesthetics clinic which was established now 15 years ago with over 30,000 treatments performed.

Most Popular Cosmetic Treatments

First and foremost I do anti-wrinkle injections for various areas in the face as well as dermal fillers for various areas in the face. Muscle relaxing injections are slightly more popular. I would estimate that we perform 60% muscle-relaxing injections versus 40% dermal fillers but a good chunk of the people who are getting dermal fillers are getting muscle-relaxing injections as well.

Popular Areas for Anti Wrinkle Injections

The most popular areas for Muscle-relaxing injections in the female face would be in between the eyebrows. The second most popular area is around the eyes and the third is across the forehead. There are a bunch of areas that people commonly get treated with muscle relaxing injections including the side of the nose, smokers lines, depressor angular oris muscle (for the corner of the mouth), scalp sweating, underarm sweating, palm sweating, for bruxism (muscles of the jaw causing pain or discomfort at night). For men, the most popular area is across the forehead or worry lines.

Most Popular Dermal Fillers

For dermal fillers, the most popular area is the tear trough filler. Second to that would be cheek filler and third is lip filler. Next is jawline filler, jawline reshaping and Chin reshaping.
