The standard ‘HydraFacial Signature’ requires only 45 minutes of your time while the ‘HydraFacial Dermalux,’ which includes specialized light therapy, takes an additional 15 minutes to complete.

How Often To Get a Hydrafacial?

Depending on your skin condition, HydraFacials can be done as frequently as one week apart to improve problematic areas. Once you achieve a level of healthy skin, it is recommended that maintenance treatments are scheduled every six weeks

What’s The Best Time To Get a Hydrafacial?

No day is ever a bad time to get a HydraFacial – but for special occasions like weddings or other big events, we always suggest scheduling at least four weeks in advance. This way, if you have any sensitivities, there will be enough time to reduce the risk of reactions before the event. Similarly known as “the red carpet facial,” this treatment can also be had on-demand once you’ve experienced it prior!

Can You Have a Hydrafacial While Pregnant?

If you are pregnant, it is not recommended to receive a HydraFacial due to the serums and exfoliants that we apply during the treatment process. Salicylic acid in particular should be avoided while expecting.

What Is The Hydrafacial Aftercare?

To minimize potential irritation, avoid any strenuous exercise or sweating as well as saunas, steam rooms and jacuzzis. As this is an intensive exfoliation treatment, it’s essential to abstain from exfoliating for the five days following your appointment.

What Are Hydrafacial Side Effects?

We also ensure that they aren’t pregnant or breastfeeding, diabetic, or have any allergies – particularly to honey, shellfish or aspirin. Can You Get a Hydrafacial on Roaccutane

Unfortunately, it is not recommended to receive a HydraFacial while taking roaccutane. Depending on how long and at what dose you were taking the treatment, you should wait up to six months after finishing your roaccutane prescription before trying out this amazing skincare service. However, please note that HydraFacial works for all skin types other than those with severe rashes or sunburns and moderate-to-severe cases of rosacea.

Therefore, we recommend scheduling each treatment separately in order to reduce any potential risk for adverse reactions or breakout episodes. While certain clinics offer a combination treatment option, Amara does not. In cases like these, it’s best practice to always consult the doctor before proceeding with an additional service prior to your appointment.

Can You Get a Hydrafacial While on Accutane?

Unfortunately, receiving a HydraFacial is not recommended for those taking accutane. Depending on the duration and dosage of your treatment, you should wait up to six months after finishing your prescription before trying this incredible skincare service. However, please remember that HydraFacials are suitable for all skin types – aside from severe cases of sunburns, rashes or rosacea.

Can You Get a Hydrafacial While on Retinol?

Absolutely, they can be carried out simultaneously. But if you use medical-grade retinol products, it is suggested that you stop using them four days prior to the HydraFacial. This way, your skin won’t suffer any negative reactions caused by combining these two treatments together.

How Often Should You Get a Hydrafacial?

The frequency of HydraFacials varies depending on your skin condition. If you want to target a specific problematic skin condition, you can get a HydraFacial every week. For maintenance treatments, it is recommended that you get one every six weeks.
