However many people swear that the sun clears up their acne! What is likely happening is that your face is becoming tanned and the skin around a pimple is making them less noticeable. With acne scarring the sun will actually darken them permanently, leaving them more noticeable when your holiday tan goes away. Wear SPF every day to help with your acne and acne scarring.


There’s No Difference In Cheap Brands of Makeup


While some people swear by cheaper ‘value shop brands’ over department store or chemist bought, they may be doing your skin more harm than good. If makeup is more expensive then it’s likely because they are using better ingredients less likely to harm your skin. Certain ingredients can be irritant to your skin causing redness and acne. This does not mean that expensive brands will not also irritate your skin. We will all react differently to certain ingredients however those with skin issues like acne or rosacea are best to stay away from cheaper brands when it comes to foundation or concealer!

While natural ingredients are all the rage with many beauty blogs throwing around words like detox and natural. However what may seem harmless because you have it in your home can be a nightmare to your skin! For example, coconut oil on the face will block pores leading to breakouts and blemishes. Other ingredients such as apple cider vinegar have very high acidity and with overuse could easily damage your skin. It is important to know what ingredients are in your skin care, using high-grade products typically means that a lot of money has gone into perfecting the levels of ingredients so everything works well together. Although they are now lab made most ingredients orientated from nature, Salicylic Acid which works on acne, spots, blemishes, pores and overall skin health was originally found in trees. It is also used to make aspirin!


You Can Remove Pores


Pores are what your skin uses to breathe, absorb and excrete liquids. When they become blocked with oil or sebum this causes bacteria to build up and cause spots.
